To all the know-it-alls out there, who really know nothing and call Thailand a "developing country", here's a reality check:
When it comes to shopping, when it comes to transportation, when it comes to food, when it comes to hospitality, when it comes to entertainment, when it comes to selection, choice, markets and quite a few other concepts....Thailand is a World leader and it's Canada who looks like a pathetic 3rd World country.
Check it out for yourself, before you make comments that make you look like an uneducated fool.
Here are a few of my favourite shots you don't see anywhere else on these pages.
Suvarnabhumi airport. Ready to go to war.
Canada could learn from Thailand. Learn a LOT.
In memory of "Auntie". May you rest in peace
and thank you for the happy hours and
beautiful moment you brought me.
Truly greatful, forever.

in "up-country" Thailand.
I refuse to fly air Canada (the flying latrine)
and wife refuses to fly Thai airways.
Thai traffic in ONE shot.
A picture that truly speaks a 1000 words.
Still good and cheap hotels, even in
central Bangkok.
Shopping, shopping, forever shopping (and eating).
Our cheap hotel's coffee section of lobby.

Chatuchak Station (Park). Get off here for the
best shopping on planet earth.
Lots of shopping ON the skytrain
stations themselves.
Just love the colours (view from hotel lobby).
Choose your business name carefully.

In 3rd world Canada, we have "a thrift store".
In world class BKK they got entire malls (7 floors)
where you can find anything on earth.
Time to down-size the ass, honey, or
get your pants a size larger.
(Trust me, she was not hot looking, so it was
probably more desperation than vanity)
Yes, I ate them all and they were delicious.
Almost tasted like potato chips...only better.
Hear yae!
Late night audits
"I brought home this Thai babe to the hotel
last night, and slept with her."

They make better bread in Thailand
than we do at my current employer.
Another example of Canada as a 3rd world country.
1/3 of the price in Vancouver
25 Thai Baht = $ 1.00 CAD
You do the math.
