Icon Siam

To all the know-it-alls out there, who really know nothing and call Thailand a "developing country", here's a reality check:

When it comes to shopping, when it comes to transportation, when it comes to food, when it comes to hospitality, when it comes to entertainment, when it comes to selection, choice, markets and quite a few other concepts....Thailand is a World leader and it's Canada who looks like a pathetic 3rd World country.

So, before you make yourself look stupid...again, and put  your foot in your mouth...again, maybe educate  yourself a bit?

Don't believe me? Go check it out for yourself.

Icon Siam. Quite possibly the most luxurious shopping mall on Earth. And if you don't believe me, go there and check it out for yourself. This ain't no Parker Place Mall in Richmond. Trust me on that one.

Nothing but brand names and luxury.

I could spend the rest of my life in Icon Siam, with my camera, and never run out of ideas or opportunites. Never get tired of it, never get bored.

It's a washroom - not a drill tunnel. Now, please, go check out Parker Place Mall in Richmond (or any other mall in Canada) and tell me Thailand is a "developing country".

The waterfall in Icon Siam...literally...falls...from the ceiling.

Not only that, but, as you can see, it literally spells out "Icon Siam" as the water crashes to the floor.

Icon Siam's world class, legendary waterfall.

And look at that ceiling!!! Doesn't look like Parker Place Mall to me.
Does this look like a "developing country" to you, or a world leader?

Changing colours, changing patterns, changing everything.
It just blows your mind.

The view from the top floor of Icon Siam? Well, a little better than from Parker Place Mall.

The king that nobody likes but won't admit because it's a criminal offense.
But no secret that the old King was humongously more popular.

And on the day we were there, the clouds were like moulded in plastic.

What a view of Bangkok...with the Chao Praya running right through it.

And every dumbass tourist "farang" (like myself), just stand there in awe, left speechless.
