Foreword:
As consumers, the first thing we are looking for is choice. The second one should be quality. So far, we've had little choice in the cookie batter department so I took it upon myself to change that.
I've done my research and in your local supermarket you have about 3 different types of batters...if you are lucky. The quality is questionable (commercially mass produced) and the price reflects that you really don't have a choice or any other options.
So, I'll give you choice. More choice than you ever had in your life before and at a price that is highly competetive and offer you a quality that is unparalleled in the market of today. My batters are perfect for home use, cafes, coffee shops, commercial kitchens, scouts, fund raisers, functions or anywhere else you find anyone who just simply like the taste of fresh, delicious cookies. So far I am up to 37 and I'll keep them coming (listed below in alphabetical order)
- All batters are $ 20/kg and make up to 25 cookies of what most Europeans would call normal size. Not the Nebraska dinner plate size.
- All batters are made fresh from scratch upon ordering. Place an order. I go shopping and you pick up shortly thereafter.
- All payments are by e-transfer or COD.
- Contact me for free help, advice and information.
- Please not that certain items may not be available at certain times, given product (ingredient) availability, supply chain or seasonal issues, etc.

APRICOT GINGER |
Ginger has long been one of my favourite spices and when coupled with apricots, it just gives that extra kick of fresh fruit flavour coming through. If you like Champagne or any other kind of sparkling "Sprudel-wasser", you are going to like this one...a lot.
 |
BLACK SESAME SEDUCTION |
One of my first attempts to fuse two stubborn and not very open minded cultures; the Asian and the European.I thought, based on experience, that food would be a good place to start merging two parallel universes and maybe, just maybe, peoples' mind would follow. Some 35 years later, I'm still trying.
This is a shortbread style cookie.
 |
BANANA BLITZ |
This is not just a blitz. It's a prolonged bombardment ("Blitz-krieg"?) of delicious, ripe banana bathed in a delightful background of tender, soft, golden yellow sugar, the way people have come to love it and expect it when we are talking high quality, pure and delicious cookie batters. The bananas will keep your cookie moist and soft and the golden yellow sugar adds just enough sweetness but is never over-powering.
 |
CREAM CHEESE APRICOT DREAMS |
So I wanted to come up with a cookie that had a very distinct taste of that cream cheese that a lot of us like so much, but I knew that you needed something more than just cream cheese or it would become a bland experience and so I went back to my beloved apricots for that extra spark, and man, did that ever work.If you like cream cheese and love to travel through the Okanagan in full fruit season, this is the one you want.
 |
CHOCOLATE BANANA FUSION |
With chocolate and banana you can't really go wrong. You can be a little on the chocolate side or a little on the banana side, but you are still...almost...assured than you are coming up with a crowd pleasing favourite that everybody will love and yearn for because it's simply two flavours that go exceptionally well together and are pretty much made for each other.
 |
CRANBERRY COCONUT BURST |
This is one of my own, personal favourites. The tang from the local BC cranberries combined with the sweet Thai coconut is just a phenomenal taste combination. Try decorating your cookies with coconut before you bake them.
 |
CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CHIP |
You knew it was coming, didn't ya? The worlds' most beloved cookie. At least the Western worlds' most beloved. You will see a lot of really shitty, commercially mass produced cookies out there without anything you are legally allowed to call chocolate. From "chippers" to "chocolatey". Ask yourself why? Because there is no chocolate in them. It's garbage, you are eating. If you want purity and quality, go to Brian, your source for quality, free help and advice and very fair prices.
 |
CARROT COCONUT MUNCHIES |
Locally grown, sweet BC carrots and the best Thai coconut that money can buy. I shred the carrots and include the juice (other places you get just the dry carrot) for that extra, enhanced & yummy flavour. This is one of my most famous cookies and once you've tried it you will know exactly why. Try mixing a bit of carrot with some coconut and use it for decoration.
 |
CARROT GINGER MUNCHIES |
I have a couple of batters where I use entire, freshly shredded ginger root but some don't like the fibres so just for you I created this "yum bomb" made with freshly extracted, pure ginger root juice. No fiber. Just pure goodness.
 |
CITRUS |
Have you ever been standing right under the tree, tip-toeing it, biting right into the fresh citrus on the vine? Well, now you know what this delicious batter tastes like. We're talking entire citrus fruits, here. Not just a bit of crappy, commercially hyped, cheap juice but entire citrus, peel and all. It's sure to give you a new and much improved opinion on what a cookie batter should be like.
 |
CANADIAN MAPLE |
A deliciously profound maple syrup cookie. 100% pure East coast Canadian maple syrup for those whose conviction is that there is no such thing as too much of a good thing.
 |
COCONUT PLESKNER |
Based on the authentic Scandinavian recipe for Danish Butter Cookies, this dudess is stuffed with more than you will ever find in any commercially made cookie with coconut and currants...and I'm pretty confident and sure that you don't mind?
 |
CASPIAN ROSE |
Here is something new to most of us...and very old to the rest of us. Another one of those marvellous fusions that this world has to offer, you don't want to miss this one. It's based on a very old (not North-American "old" but World old) Scandinavian recipe but infused with pure rosewater from the Caspian region. A wonderfull fragrant touch with a sweet bite. The best of both Worlds.
 |
CHOCOLATE TRIUMPH |
Here is Julius Cesar riding around in his chariot, triumphantly. This is my own take on a triple chocolate cookie, stuffed with high quality chocolate chips. Not cheap 'carobs', 'compound' chocolate or other crap. Only the highest quality chips, because in the end, it will only cost you a penny or two more to get the best quality that money can buy.
 |
CARDAMOM WHITE CHOCOLATE |
In Cardamom town, the good stuff goes aroun':
Cardamom White Chocolate with the extended pleasures of sweetened cranberries, but watch out; if you are not already a cardamomiac,
you may just get hooked on this one.
 |
DARK CHOCOLATE CHIP |
Ok, so what do you do if your regular chocolate chip cookie is not dark enough for you but a tripple chocolate is overkill? You do what we did; replace the golden yellow sugar with dark demerera. Watch out, Classic Chocolate Chip - you got competition breathing down your neck, now.
 |
FUMIKOS' KINDNESS |
A honey based, healthy choice for the conniseur, this batter is sugar free and loaded with healthy choices (fruits, nuts and grains) like cranberries, apricots, oats and pecans. If you like your cookies but don't want to get run over by the sugar steam train or the carcinogen junk truck, then this is the batter you want. Dedicated to Fumiko Yamamoto.
 |
FIGS OF ATHENS |
One of the most exciting fruits, in my oppinion, is the fig. Sweet, smooth and creamy with just an ever so slight grit from the tiny seeds, makes for a very versatile fruit with an exciting taste. Now, couple that with the added taste from a bit of anise, and you got one amazing cokie. You owe it to yourself to try this one.
 |
GINGER DELIGHT |
Asian cooking without ginger? Impossible! And now ginger has become one of the most popular spices in Western cooking, too, and baking in particular. The health benefits of fresh ginger is no longer a secret and it's wonderful flavour has been a favourite with almost everyone for decades. Get a kg or two of this one. C'mon! Snap, snap.
 |
HONEY PECAN SHORTBREAD |
Let me not pester you with mindless psycho-babble. there is only one way to describe this batter: Another classic wrapped in a bowtie!
 |
HAZELNUT BUTTER |
North-Americans like their peanuts (don't ask me why). Well! Europeans like their hazelnuts and biting into this one is like a stroll down the Champs E'lysee on a sunny spring day in Paris, taking a rest at a sidewalk cafe while listening to the accordion player on the bank of la Seine. This one comes with a warming; Watch out! You may just forsake the old, dusty peanut and convert to hazel'ism.
 |
RASPBERRY CHOCOLATE |
Yes, that's right. Fresh raspberries and bitter, dark chocolate.
I just got tired of strawberries and chocolate in the bathtub with the Dom Perignon waiting on the ledge in it's ice bucket.
 |
GREEN TEA (MATCHA HAGOROMO) |
A former colleague of mine, Yoshika Kitamura, persuaded me to try to make a 'Canadian version of a traditional Japanese sesame cookie'. I knew right then and there that I was stepping into a mine field, but once across the mine field I think I came out on the other side with my pride held high and so much richer on experience.
I am actually very proud of this decisively fusioned cookie. A traditional shortbread cookie infused with the most luxurious of Japanese teas ( Ujinotsusuyu Matcha Hagoromo ). Decorate with a generoous amount of sesame seed.
 |
LEMONESE |
Fresh, pure lemon juice squeezed from fresh lemons.
Add the grated peel and a generous amount of anise seeds. Wow!
 |
LENNY THE LIMEY |
Unsweetened coconut and freshly squeezed lime juice with peel.
This one's worth going berserk over. A cookie like no other you've ever had.
 |
MARASCHINO KISSES |
Sweet and sultry like 'garota de Ipanema' (the girl from Ipanema), this cookie was born from the inspiration of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the 'bosa' of Jobim, Gil and Nascimento, and yes, the baker has been there, himself. Try it with a really good cafezinho.
 |
MEGA MANGO |
This is not a gun toting, Charlton Heston 'out of my stone cold dead hands' mango assasination. It's more of a Hsu Qi sleek and seductive mango infusion. If you know either of the two, you know exactly what i mean. Made with pure BC honey and fresh ataulfo mangoes.
 |
MINCEMEAT MONSTERS |
What started out as a seasonal favourite has now become an all-year-round favourite. After all, Santa Clause is hard at work in his work shop, every day of the year, isn't he? Just because you don't see him every day it doesn't mean he is not there...and just like our batter, we know you want him, too, every day of the year.
 |
OATMEAL CHOCOLATE |
Oatmeal cookies. I would say a very solid 2nd on the list of most popular cookies in the world, and for a very good reason. What makes ours better? We put lots of 'the reason' in there, but we are not letting you in on any secrets to our recipes, other this this one: Lots of high quality chocolate chips!
 |
OATMEAL CRANBERRY |
Oatmeal cookies. I would say a very solid 2nd on the list of most popular cookies in the world, and for a very good reason. What makes ours better? We put lots of 'the reason' in there, but we are not letting you in on any secrets to our recipes, other this this one: Lots of fresh, tangy cranberries to thrill your taste buds and kick start your glands.
 |
OATMEAL RAISIN |
Oatmeal cookies. I would say a very solid 2nd on the list of most popular cookies in the world, and for a very good reason. What makes ours better? We put lots of 'the reason' in there, but we are not letting you in on any secrets to our recipes, other this this one: Lots of yummy golden raisins or dark Thomsons - your choice!
 |
PEANUT BUTTER |
It's all in the ratio between margarine and peanut butter. Our recipe is no teeter-totter. We go heavy on the peanut butter!
|
 |
PUMPKIN PATCHES |
The only thing monsterous about this one, is the taste. Simple the perfect blend of pumpkin and spices...in all modesty. Try it and you will be smashing pumpkins, forever. It should be needless to say that it's made from fresh pumkin - not the canned crap.
 |
SUPREME GINGER |
The Dennis Rodman of ginger cookies. Out there, provocative and right smack in your face, this batter is made with all three kinds of ginger (where cheaper ones only use dried ginger): Dried ginger, candied ginger and fresh, shredded ginger root, for that right-smack-in-your-face snappy ginger experience. Ready for it?
 |
SPLAT POPS |
Another cookie for us kids and occasionally immature adults. This one you just know is going to be a hit, any time and every time. Try whisper 'smarties' or 'M & M's' in my ear and you will see a wide grin all over my face.
 |
TROPICAL TREATS |
Close your eyes and you are off the land of your dreams, curtesey of the magical flying carpet of this sweet sensation. All the tropical fruits, gently kissed by yummy chocolates. You will love this one.
 |
THIMPU SUNRISE |
Wheny ou are sitting in Thimpu, watching the sun set behind Black Mountain you know you are in a very special place. If I could only visit one place on Earth, in my life time, it would be Thimphu, Bhutan. If I could only eat one kind of cookies, in my life time, it would be this one. Made with real butter - lots of it - and stuffed with high quality chocolate and the best almonds that money can buy, cookies doesn't come any better than this one. We added a few drops of brandy, just to make it even better, yet. Dedicated to Passang Lhamo.
