INFO on FREE PHOTO SHOOTS

GENERAL INFO ON FREE SHOOTS

    • Each shoot is up to two hours in duration. You will get about 10 digital images that you download from my secure site and edit yourself so you can get them just the way you like them.

    • All shoots take place at Iona Beach Regional Park in Richmond, unless otherwise agreed upon by both model and photographer, and any date/time you are given for your shoot, you will need to confirm at least 24 hours in advance or the shoot is considered null and void.

  • Unless otherwise requested, samples of your pictures will be posted on my website, and (unless otherwise requested) and all shoots will take place on a weekend.

  • It may sometimes be a good idea to meet for a coffee prior to the shoot, just to go over the details face-to-face, and in order to make you comfortable with the process and your photographer. Being comfortable is crucial to the end product (as is proper communication) and any shoot should be a comfortable experience that you enjoy and have some fun with. Any pre-shoot meeting, if you decide to have one, will take place in a public place, usually in the Richmond Centre area.

INSTRUCTIONS, IF INTERESTED IN A SHOOT

If you have any interest in the shoots, here’s what you need to provide:

  • A recent general picture of yourself (see paragraph below).
  • A few words on what you had in mind, what you would like to do or not like to do.
  • Your direct contact information (phone number and email) and preferred availability.

The picture I will use to get a general idea of “what direction to take” during a potential shoot. As you know, some people and personalities are better suited for one type of shoots and some  for another. In example, some are better suited for “biker pictures”, some for funny shoots, some for sexy shoots, some for academic style shoots, etc. That’s where a few words about what you had in mind comes in…and then your availability and direct contact information. But everything starts with proper communication.

Other than that, just relax, have some fun with what you are doing and don’t be afraid to break a few moulds along the way.
